Translation
✧ Ka‘b asked: O Commander of the Faithful, while we were kindling a fire, I threw a locust into it while I was in iḥrām, and I gave a dirham in charity. ‘Umar said: “Indeed, O people of Ḥimṣ, your leaves are many. A date is more beloved to me than your locusts.”
