✧ The sacrifices

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ:
مَرَّ النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي فُطَيْمَةَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِكَبْشٍ أَقْرَنَ أَعْيَنَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا أَشْبَهَ هَذَا بِالْكَبْشِ الَّذِي ضَحَّى إِبْرَاهِيمُ " فَاشْتَرَى مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَفْرَاءَ كَبْشًا أَقْرَنَ أَعْيَنَ، فَأَهْدَاهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ " فَضَحَّى بِهِ
Translation
✧ Al-Nu'man b. Abi Futaymah passed by the Prophet ﷺ with a horned, black-eyed ram. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "How similar this is to the ram that Ibrahim sacrificed." So Mu'adh b. 'Afra' bought a horned, black-eyed ram and gave it as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ, and he sacrificed it.
