✧ His having intercourse with his wife

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
لَا يَأْتِي الْمُعْتَكِفُ أَهْلَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَلَا بِالنَّهَارِ يَقُولُ: " لَا يُصِيبُ أَهْلَهُ، وَلَا يُقَبِّلُ، وَلَا يُبَاشِرُ، وَلَا يَمَسُّ، وَلَا يَجِسُّ، لِيَعْتَزِلْهَا مَا اسْتَطَاعَ
Translation
✧ The one in iʿtikāf should not approach his wife at night or during the day. He would say: “He should not have intercourse with his wife, nor kiss, nor touch, nor feel, nor lie with her—he should keep away from her as much as he can.”
