✧ The Sunnah of I'tikaf

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ،
كَانَ " يُرَخِّصُ لِلْمُعْتَكِفِ أَنْ يَعُودَ الْمَرِيضَ، وَلَا يَجْلِسَ، وَكَانَ يُرَخِّصُ لَهُ أَنْ يُشَيِّعَ الْجِنَازَةَ
Translation
✧ He used to grant a concession to the person performing i'tikaf to visit the sick without sitting down, and he used to grant him a concession to accompany a funeral procession.
