✧ The Sunnah of I'tikaf

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ قَالَتْ:
كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ " فِي اعْتِكَافِهَا إِذَا خَرَجَتْ إِلَى بَيْتِهَا لِحَاجَتِهَا تَمُرُّ بِالْمَرِيضِ، فَتَسْأَلُ عَنْهَ، وَهِيَ مُجْتَازَةٌ لَا تَقِفُ عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ A'ishah, during her i'tikaf, when she went out to her house for some need, she would pass by a sick person and ask about him while she was just passing by, not stopping for him.
