✧ The Sunnah of I'tikaf

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
لَا يَخْرُجُ الْمُعْتَكِفُ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ لَا بُدَّ لَهُ مِنْهَا، مِنْ غَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ، وَلَا يَتْبَعُ جِنَازَةً، وَلَا يَعُودُ مَرِيضًا، وَلَا يُجِيبُ دَعْوَةً، وَلَا يَمَسُّ امْرَأَةً، وَلَا يُبَاشِرُهَا
Translation
✧ The one in I'tikaf does not leave except for a necessity he cannot avoid, such as defecation or urination. He does not follow funerals, visit the sick, answer an invitation, touch a woman, or engage in foreplay with her.
