عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعْدٌ أَخُو يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ مِنْ بَنِي الْخَزْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
مَنْ صَامَ شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ، وَأَتْبَعَهُ سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ، فَذَلِكَ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ عَشَرَةٌ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Saʿd, the brother of Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, narrated to me, from ʿUmar b. Thābit b. al-Ḥajjāj, of the Banū al-Khazraj, from Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
✧ Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, that is fasting the entire age." He said: I said: "For each day ten?" He said: "Yes."
