✧ Eating in the presence of a fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى، عَنْ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ قَالَتْ:
أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَرَّبْنَا إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا، فَكَانَ بَعْضُ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ صَائِمًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِذَا أَكَلْتَ عِنْدَ الصَّائِمِ سَبَّحَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and we offered him food. Some of those with him were fasting, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "When you eat in the presence of a fasting person, the angels send blessings upon him."
