Musannaf 'Abd al-Razzaq 7966

✧ The one who gives food to a fasting person to break his fast

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عِنْدَ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ زَيْتًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ، وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ ate oil at Sa'd b. 'Ubadah's house, then said: “May the fasting break their fast with you, the righteous eat your food, and the angels descend upon you.”
