Translation

✧ He forbade two days of fasting, two sales, and two ways of dressing. As for the two days, they are the day of Fiṭr and the day of Aḍḥā. As for the two sales, they are mulāmasa and munābadha. Mulāmasa is that each of them touches the other's garment without examining it. As for munābadha, it is that each of them throws his garment to the other without either looking at the other's garment. As for the two ways of dressing, one is that a man wraps himself in a single garment with his private parts exposed. As for the other way of dressing, it is that he puts the inside of his izār and its outside over one of his shoulders and exposes his side.' ʿAmr said: 'They hold that if he wraps himself in a garment and covers his private parts, there is no harm.'
