✧ Fasting on the Day of Arafah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ:
شَكُّوا فِي صِيَامِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِعَرَفَةَ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ: أَنَا أَعْلَمُ لَكُمْ ذَلِكَ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ بِقَعْبٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ، فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ
Translation
✧ They were uncertain about the Prophet's ﷺ fasting at Arafah, so Umm al-Fadl said: 'I will inform you about that.' She sent him a wooden bowl of milk, and he drank from it.
