Translation
✧ We set out as pilgrims and stopped at Abu Dharr's. He prepared food for us, and it was Friday. Among us was a man fasting. Then Abu Dharr said, 'I adjure you to eat, unless you have begun the month afresh.' And he adjured him a second time, or twice. He said, 'Friday is a day of Eid, so for you to break your fast is better.'
