أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ، فَقَالَ: أَسَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ
Translation
✧ He asked Jabir b. Abd Allah while he was circumambulating the House, saying, 'Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid fasting on Friday?' He said, 'Yes, by the Lord of this House.'
