✧ Fasting on Friday

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ - أَحْسَبُهُ أَبَا الْأَوْبَرِ - عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
وَرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْكَعْبَةِ، لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَصِلَهُ بِصِيَامٍ
Translation
✧ By the Lord of this Kaaba, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid fasting on Friday unless one connects it with fasting.
