✧ Breaking a voluntary fast and fasting it if one did not intend it at night

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

مَنْ أَصْبَحَ صَائِمًا تَطَوُّعًا إِنْ شَاءَ صَامَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَفْطَرَ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَضَاءٌ

Translation

✧ Whoever begins the day fasting voluntarily, if he wishes he may fast, and if he wishes he may break his fast, and he owes no makeup.
