✧ Standing in prayer during Ramadan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: أُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فِي رَمَضَانَ ؟ قَالَ: " أَتَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: " أَفَتُنْصِتُ كَأَنَّكَ حِمَارٌ ؟ صَلِّ فِي بَيْتِكَ
Translation
✧ A man came to Ibn Umar and said: 'Should I pray behind the imam in Ramadan?' He said: 'Do you recite the Quran?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Would you then keep silent as if you were a donkey? Pray in your house.'
