✧ Making up Ramadan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ
سُئِلَ عَنْ قَضَاءِ رَمَضَانَ: أَمَعًا أَمْ شَتَّى ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَيَّ ذَلِكَ شَاءَ؛ قَالَ اللهُ: شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ قَالَ: " فَمَنْ قَضَى رَمَضَانَ فَمَعًا، وَلَكِنْ لَمْ يَقُلْ فِيهِ شَيْئًا، وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهُ صَالِحُ النَّاسِ، فَهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِلْحَلَالِ
Translation
✧ He was asked about making up Ramadan: together or separately? He said: "Whichever of that he wishes; Allah said: two consecutive months, and if He wished He said: 'So whoever makes up Ramadan, then together,' but He did not say anything about it, and the righteous people did not forbid it, so they follow what is permissible."
