عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ شَيْبَةَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ شَرُوسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
اسْتَعِينُوا بِرُقَادِ النَّهَارِ عَلَى قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ، وَبِأَكْلَةِ السَّحَرِ عَلَى صِيَامِ النَّهَارِ
Translation
✧ Seek help through the midday nap for standing in prayer at night, and through eating the predawn meal for fasting during the day.
