عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ:
﴿وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ ﴾قَالَ: " كَانَتْ فِي الشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ الْكَبِيرَةِ لَا يُطِيقَانِ الصَّوْمَ، وَهُوَ شَدِيدٌ عَلَيْهِمَا، فَرُخِّصَ لَهُمَا أَنْ يُفْطِرَا ثُمَّ نُسِخَ ذَلِكَ بَعْدُ " فَقَالَ: مَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
Translation
✧ “And upon those who can bear it with hardship.” He said: “It applied to the elderly man and the elderly woman who are unable to fast; it is difficult for them. Concession was given to them to break their fast, then that was later abrogated, for He said: ‘So whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast it.’”
