✧ Rinsing the mouth for the fasting person

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلَ إِنْسَانٌ عَطَاءً يَتَسَحَّرُ الصَّائِمُ، ثُمْ يَجِدُ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَسْنَانِهِ شَيْئًا قَالَ: لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ، وَمَا ذَاكَ قَدْ مَضْمَضْتَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: " قَدْ كَانَ يُنْهَى أَنْ يُمَضْمِضَ الصَّائِمُ عِنْدَ الْفِطْرِ فَيَمُجُّهَا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسِيغَ شَيْئًا "، قَالَ: " مَا أَكْرَهُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا لِقَوْلِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
Translation
✧ A person asked 'Ata': A fasting person eats the pre-dawn meal, then before the prayer he finds something in his teeth. He said: There is nothing upon him in that, and what is that? He has rinsed his mouth. He said: I said: It used to be forbidden for a fasting person to rinse his mouth when breaking the fast and then spit it onto the ground before swallowing anything. He said: I only dislike that because of the saying of Abu Hurayra.
