✧ The sacredness of Ramadan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ الْأَحْدَبِ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَشْكُرِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ:
مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ رُخْصَةٍ مِنَ اللهِ لَقِيَ اللهَ بِهِ، وَإِنْ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ إِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ
Translation
✧ Whoever breaks his fast on a day of Ramadan without a dispensation from Allah will meet Allah with it, even if he fasts the entire time. If He wills, He will forgive him, and if He wills, He will punish him.
