✧ Those who invalidate the fast and those who eat intentionally in Ramadan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ بَجِيلَةَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا فِي رَمَضَانَ ؟ قَالَ: " مَا يَقُولُ فِيهِ الْمَغَالِيقُ "، قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَالَ الشَّعْبِيُّ: يَصُومُ يَوْمًا مَكَانَهُ، وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ
Translation
✧ I asked al-Sha'bi about a man who broke his fast for a day in Ramadan? He said: 'What do the strict ones say about it?' He said: Then al-Sha'bi said: 'He fasts a day in its place and seeks forgiveness from Allah.'
