✧ The man who eats and drinks forgetfully

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ،
أَنَّ إِنْسَانًا جَاءَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَ: أَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا، فَنَسِيتُ فَطَعِمْتُ، وَشَرِبْتُ، قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ، اللهُ أَطْعَمَكَ وَسَقَاكَ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ آخَرَ، فَنَسِيتُ فَطَعِمْتُ، وَشَرِبْتُ، قَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ، اللهُ أَطْعَمَكَ وَسَقَاكَ "، قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ آخَرَ فَنَسِيتُ، وَطَعِمْتُ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: " أَنْتَ إِنْسَانٌ لَمْ تُعَاوِدِ الصِّيَامَ
Translation
✧ A person came to Abu Hurayrah and said: I began the morning fasting, but I forgot and ate and drank. He said: No harm; Allah fed you and gave you drink. He said: Then I entered upon another person and forgot and ate and drank. He said: "No harm; Allah fed you and gave you drink." He said: Then I entered upon another person and forgot and ate. Abu Hurayrah said: "You are a person who has not returned to fasting."
