✧ Eating and drinking when in doubt

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ:
أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا شَكَكْتُ فِي الْفَجْرِ، وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الصِّيَامَ ؟ قَالَ: كُلْ مَا شَكَكْتَ حَتَّى لَا تَشُكَّ
Translation
✧ "What do you think if I doubt about the dawn while I intend to fast?" He said: "Eat as long as you are in doubt, until you are no longer in doubt."
