✧ Eating and drinking when in doubt

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
اسْقِنِي يَا غُلَامُ ! قَالَ: أَصْبَحْتُ، فَقُلْتُ: كَلَّا، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: شَكٌّ لَعَمْرُ اللهِ، اسْقِنِي فَشَرِبَ
Translation
✧ "Give me a drink, O boy!" He said: "It is morning." I said: "No, by no means." Ibn ʿAbbās said: "Doubt, by the life of God! Give me a drink." So he drank.
