✧ The distinction between Ramadan and Sha'ban

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ صِيَامِ الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ: " إِذَا كَانَ مُغَيَّمًا يُتَحَرَّى أَنَّهُ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَلَا يَصُمْهُ
Translation
✧ I asked al-Qasim b. Muhammad about fasting the day about which there is doubt regarding Ramadan. He said: “If it is cloudy and it is thought that it is from Ramadan, he should not fast it.”
