Translation
✧ We were with Ammar b. Yasir on the day about which there is uncertainty regarding Ramadan, when a roasted sheep was brought. A man from the group withdrew, so he said, 'Come close.' The man said, 'I am fasting, and it is only a fast I have been observing.' Ammar said, 'Do you believe in Allah and the Last Day? Then eat.'
