✧ The distinction between Ramadan and Sha'ban

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ:
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُتَعَجَّلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ بِصَوْمِ يَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ كَانَ يَصُومُ صَوْمًا فَيَأْتِي ذَلِكَ عَلَى صَوْمِهِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade anticipating the month of Ramadan by fasting a day or two before it, except for a man who was accustomed to fasting regularly, in which case that day would coincide with his fasting.
