عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ الْأَهِلَّةَ مَوَاقِيتَ لِلنَّاسِ، فَصُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ، وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ، فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا لَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا
Translation
✧ Indeed, God has made the crescents as markers of time for the people. So fast at its sighting, and break the fast at its sighting. If it is obscured from you, then count for it thirty days.
