عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُرَحْبِيلَ:
كَانَ يُعْطِي زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ الرُّهْبَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ، وَكَانَ غَيْرُهُ يَقُولُ: يُعْطِيهَا الْمُسْلِمِينَ
Translation

✧ He used to give zakat al-fitr to monks from the people of the covenant, and others said: Give it to the Muslims.
