عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ لَهُ الدَّيْنُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ، قَالَ: " مَا يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يُزَكِّيَ ؟، قَالَ: لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: " وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا فَلْيُؤَدِّ مَا غَابَ عَنْهُ
Translation
✧ He was asked about a man who is owed a debt by another man. He said: 'What prevents him from paying zakat?' He said: 'He cannot get it.' He said: 'If he is truthful, let him pay what is absent from him.'
