✧ No Zakat Except on Cash

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ:
فِي كُلِّ عَرَضٍ نُقِدَ وَدَيْنٍ يُرْجَى زَكَاةٌ
Translation
✧ On every commodity from which cash is received and on every debt that is hoped for, there is zakat.
