عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَمَاسٍ قَالَ:
مَرَّ عَلَيَّ عُمَرُ، فَقَالَ: " أَدِّ زَكَاةَ مَالِكَ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: مَا لِي مَالٌ أُزَكِّيهِ إِلَّا فِي الْخِفَافِ، وَالْأُدُمِ قَالَ: " فَقَوِّمْهُ، وَأَدِّ زَكَاتَهُ
Translation
✧ ‘Umar passed by me and said: “Pay the zakāh on your wealth.” He said: I said: “I have no wealth to pay zakāh on except in leather socks and tanned hides.” He said: “Then assess its value, and pay its zakāh.”
