عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو:
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَلِّي بَنَاتِهِ بِالذَّهَبِ، ذَكَرَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مِائَتَيْ دِرْهَمٍ، أُرَاهُ ذَكَرَ الْأَلْفَ، أَوْ أَكْثَرَ كَانَ يُزَكِّيهِ
Translation
✧ He used to adorn his daughters with gold—he mentioned more than two hundred dirhams, I think he mentioned a thousand or more—and he used to pay zakat on it.
