عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَمَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ " عَنِ الْحُلِيِّ هَلْ فِيهِ زَكَاةٌ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، قُلْتُ: إِنْ كَانَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ ؟ قَالَ: " الْأَلْفُ كَثِيرٌ
Translation
✧ I asked Jabir b. 'Abd Allah about jewelry: Is there zakat on it? He said: "No." I said: Even if it is a thousand dinars? He said: "A thousand is a lot."
