عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَةٍ، فَقَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى أَبِي أَوْفَى
Translation
✧ When a people brought charity to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would say: O Allah, bless them. He said: My father brought charity to him, and he said: O Allah, bless Abū Awfā.
