عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ زَمَانًا مِنَ الزَّمَانِ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ: خُذُوا مِنَّا مَا أَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَكُنْتُ أَعْجَبُ حِينَ لَمْ يَقْبَلُوا مِنْهُمْ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ " كَتَبَ كِتَابًا فِيهِ هَذِهِ الْفَرَائِضُ، فَقُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ إِلَى الْعُمَّالِ، فَأَخَذَ بِهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَأَمْضَاهُ بَعْدَهُ عَلَى مَا كَتَبَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا ذَكَرَ الْبَقَرَ أَيْضًا
Translation
✧ I used to hear for a time that they used to say: 'Take from us what the Prophet ﷺ took.' I was surprised that they did not accept that from them, until al-Zuhrī told me that the Prophet ﷺ wrote a document containing these obligations, and the Prophet ﷺ passed away before writing to the governors. Abu Bakr followed it and enforced it after him according to what he had written. I do not think he mentioned anything but cattle as well.
