Translation
✧ Ali entered upon his son al-Hasan while al-Ashari was with him. He said: “What has brought you, old man?” He said: “I heard of the illness of my nephew’s son and wished to visit him.” He said: “Indeed, what is in our hearts does not prevent us from telling you what we have heard: whoever visits a sick person by day, seventy thousand angels pray for him until evening; and if he visits him at night, seventy thousand angels pray for him until morning.”
