عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ بِسْطَامِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ زِنْبَاعٍ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ،
أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ لَهُ: " يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، إِنَّا كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّ عَائِدَ الْمَرِيضِ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ، فَإِنْ سَأَلَ بِالْمَرِيضِ قَائِمًا أَلْجَمَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَإِنْ قَعَدَ غَمَرَتْهُ
Translation
✧ Anas b. Malik said to him: “O Abu Abd Allah, we used to relate that the visitor of a sick person plunges into mercy. If he asks about the sick person while standing, mercy bridles him; and if he sits, it immerses him.”
