✧ Greeting the grave of the Prophet ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ خُثَيْمٍ: عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ:
عُدْنَا أَبَا وَاقِدٍ الْبَكْرِيَّ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، فَمَاتَ فَدُفِنَ فِي قُبُورِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ، قَالَ: " وَمَاتَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَدُفِنُوا هُنَاكَ فِي قُبُورِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ " قَالَ: " وَاتَّبَعْتُ بَعْضَهُمْ ". بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهَا الْقُبُورُ الَّتِي دُونَ فَخٍّ، وَمَا زِلْتُ أَسْمَعُ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ: " أَنَّهَا قُبُورُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ
Translation
✧ We visited Abu Waqid al-Bakri during the illness in which he died. He died and was buried in the graves of the Muhajirun. He said: "And some of the Ansar, companions of the Prophet ﷺ, died and were buried there, in the graves of the Muhajirun." He said: "And I followed some of them." It has reached me that these are the graves below Fakhkh. I kept hearing, while I was a boy, that they are the graves of the Muhajirun.
