✧ On visiting the graves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَأْتِي قُبُورَ الشُّهَدَاءِ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ الْحَوْلِ، فَيَقُولُ: " السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ ". قَالَ: وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to come to the graves of the martyrs at the turn of the year and say: "Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured, and excellent is the final home." He said: Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman also used to do that.
