✧ The funeral prayer in the mosque

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ:
رَأَى أَبِي النَّاسَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ لِيُصَلُّوا عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ، فَقَالَ: مَا يَصْنَعُ هَؤُلَاءِ ؟ مَا صُلِّيَ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
Translation
✧ My father saw people leaving the mosque to pray over a funeral, and he said, 'What are these people doing? Abu Bakr was not prayed over except in the mosque.'
