عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: "

مَا شَعَرْنَا بِدَفْنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَتَّى سَمِعْنَا صَوْتَ الْمَسَاحِي مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ

Translation

✧ We did not perceive the burial of the Prophet ﷺ until we heard the sound of shovels in the last part of the night.
