✧ The funeral prayer over the deceased after burial

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ حَنَشِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ قَالَ:
جَاءَ نَاسٌ بَعْدَمَا صُلِّيَ عَلَى سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، " فَأَمَرَ عَلِيٌّ قَرَظَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ أَنْ يَؤُمَّهُمْ وَيُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَمَا دُفِنَ
Translation
✧ Some people came after the funeral prayer had been performed over Sahl b. Hunayf, so Ali ordered Qarazah al-Ansari to lead them, and he prayed over him after he had been buried.
