عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي جِنَازَةٍ، فَحَمَلَ سَعِيدٌ، فَبَدَأَ بِمُقَدَّمِ الْعُودِ الَّذِي عَلَى الرَّأْسِ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى طَرَفِهِ الَّذِي يَلِي الرِّجْلَ فَحَمَلَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ الْأَيْسَرِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ طَرَفَهُ الَّذِي يَلِي الرَّأْسَ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ الْأَيْسَرِ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ، وَقَالَ: " هَكَذَا حَمْلُ الْجَنَائِزِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Ismāʿīl b. Kathīr informed me,
✧ He was with Saʿīd b. Jubayr at a funeral, and Saʿīd carried. He began with the front end of the pole that was at the head, placing it on his right shoulder, then he went back to its end that was by the foot and carried it on his left shoulder, then he came to its end that was by the head and placed it on his left shoulder, then he turned away on his right, and said: 'This is how funerals are carried.'
