✧ Preventing women from following funerals

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، تَبِعَ جِنَازَةً فَرَأَى نِسَاءً يَتَّبِعْنَهَا وَيَصْرُخْنَ، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِنَّ وَقَالَ: " أُفٍّ لَكُنَّ، أَذًى عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ، وَفِتْنَةً عَلَى الْحَيِّ، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar followed a funeral procession and saw women following it and screaming. He turned to them and said, "Uff to you, harm to the dead and temptation to the living," three times.
