✧ Preventing women from following funerals

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَأَى نِسَاءً مَعَ جِنَازَةٍ، فَقَالَ: " ارْجِعْنَ مَأْزُورَاتٍ غَيْرَ مَأْجُورَاتٍ، فَوَاللهِ مَا تَحْمِلْنَ وَلَا تَدْفِنَّ، يَا مُؤْذِيَاتِ الْأَمْوَاتِ وَمُفَتِّنَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ
Translation
✧ Umar saw women with a funeral procession and said, "Return, burdened with sin, not rewarded. By Allah, you do not carry nor bury. O annoyers of the dead and tempters of the living."
