عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ:
تَبِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْجِنَازَةَ فَرَأَى امْرَأَةً عَلَى أَثَرِهَا، فَأَمَرَ بِالْجِنَازَةِ فَحُبِسَتْ، وَبَعَثَ رَجُلًا فَرَدَّ الْمَرْأَةَ، حَتَّى إِذَا وَارَى بِهَا الْبُيُوتَ مَشَوْا بِهَا
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Mujāhid said:
✧ The Prophet ﷺ followed a funeral procession and saw a woman behind it. He ordered that the funeral be held back, and sent a man to turn the woman back, until when the houses hid her from view, they proceeded with it.
