✧ Riding with the funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَلْقَمَةَ: أَكَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ الْمَشْيَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ السَّيْرَ أَمَامَهَا، يَعْنِي الرَّاكِبَ
Translation
✧ I asked ‘Alqamah: Did they dislike walking in front of the funeral procession? He said: “No, but they disliked riding in front of it, meaning the rider.”
