عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: مَنْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِهِ لِنَعْشِ الْمَرْأَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ، حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ ذَلِكَ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ
Translation

✧ I said to 'Ata': Who was the first to bring the bier for a woman? He said: "Asma' bt. 'Umays; I think she saw that in the land of Abyssinia."
